New for Fall 2008 - Colourscape Chunky yarn by Kaffe Fassett.

Kaffe chooses his palette by taking different shades of yarn and knotting them together to inspire the final blend of colours.  With Kaffe supervising, the dyed to match wool roving was hand thrown into a trough in his chose sequence.  This hands on process uses very special machinery, tooled exclusively for Rowan in Yorkshire England.  After the wool is blended, the yarn is spun, as specified by Kaffe into a soft shetland-like twist for a good handle and generous length.  The colours are vibrant in daylight and bring excitement to every stitch.
